Actual I don't think those ones were mozzies, had a really bad one on an ankle as well. Had loads of mozzie bites which I react to but nothing like those. The bloody mozzies here drink jungle juice for breakfast :sob:

On Vancouver Island today out in the wild with beavers in the pond at the bottom of the garden and black bears patrolling the woods, incredibly peaceful unlike the Canada day celebrations yesterday in Whistler then Horshoe bay which were great fun.

I asked a group of Canucks why they are always smiling and they just spead their arms and said " look around you "

:funny: The car has a sat nav Derek which has taken us along some iffy roads. Bloody thing is built in, it's an American Chrysler 300, and shows distances and speed limits in miles while everything here is in km.

On to Toffino tomorrow for a few days to see some wildlife hopefully.

This holiday lark is tiring! Some silly sod didn't realise when booking up last year that it was a long weekend for Canada day :goesred:and so the only car ferry we could get on was 6.20 this morning, so, 5am in the queue didn't go down at all well.
