Another pen wood this time.

I made this one today unfortunately they sold me the wrong bushings with the kit so I had to make a set of bushings myself. It did not come out exactly as I would of liked. I will make another set of bushings and have another go. The nib end is out I think it spoils the pen.

You don't need bushings just use digital callipers and 60° centres.

Yes I could turn between centres but It takes very little time to turn a set of bushings out of stainless and once made I can use them over and over again.

Looks like the bushings you made were out of round.
TBC without bushings and use your calipers.

I'm sure you can sort this. Make sure your mandrel hasn't got a very slight bend, this can give a similar result.
