WOW, great idea.
Not sure I'll be trying it just yet. My exploits with superglue would most likely produce a pen containing a lot of skin:wink:

Its the shavings from under my lathe Ed. I just put them in a bin, put superglue on a tube and rolled it around in the shavings. It needs a bit of patience to build it up and keep filling in holes but I think its worth it.

Have you thought of doing this using resin Paul? It may be worth a try next summer ... :bwink:

Yes, be very careful when dealing with superglue Bob, I have become allergic to it and if I get a whiff of it I struggle to breath for days on end now. I've had to buy a respirator to make pens now but it also means that I don't worry about wood dust either.
