Hi all, my annual trip to Woodfest at Belmont and another great show showcasing wood and all its associated trades. Today we had a little rain, right in the middle of the speed chainsaw carving, but they just carried on. I saw a couple of pole lathes in use, which is always good to see and met up with Dalboy (aka Derek) who had some wonderful turnings on display:drool: very impressive mateIMG_20190907_120432.jpgIMG_20190907_132112.jpgIMG_20190907_141510.jpg

Back home great to meet up again Mark, we both have been fed and watered now looking for a long sleep ready again for tomorrow. I managed to talk to some of the other exhibitors some I know from other years.
We have sorted out some replacement stock for tomorrow mainly the wife's side of things I still have a full able in spite of having a very good day of sales. managed to sell a couple of pens on top of all the other turned stuff I shifted so look out for some pen turning soon:funny::funny::funny:

If anyone does go look me up.

Well day two went well got home last night and after unloading some food and water we both just colapsed in the chairs totally shattered. Even when packing away we had people still buying.

Did not take any photos this year except the stall I will post them later. Saw quite a few members from the club on day two as the Saturday they were at the club watching Colwyn Way demonstrate.

I need to have a look in my pen unit I seem to have too many fountain pens need to look at rollerball and parker refill type kits.

Did you buy her one of the chainsaw carvings after the demo. Or maybe a lump of wood:face::face::face:

As promised my simple setup. The two chairs are only there as we had just had our bacon butties and a coffee before the show started
