But how much would a reasonable grinder cost with a cbn wheel on each end- probably as much as the proedge, certainly more than £200.

I know that you can sharpen with a cheap grinder with standard wheels on but it is a huge learning curve.
Add onto that the cost of a good jig. I just bought the Sorby Universal jig with the all the extras. Cost over £150

Hey folks I purchased the sorby proedge after you folks recommended it. Excellent and easy to use and really good for repetitive sharpening thank you for your help
