Very nice Woody, I need to have a go at these myself. I haven't got my head around how exactly to do the off center bit though

Put a flat bit of wood in your chuck or on a face plate and stick your blank on it with carpet double sided tape turn the back flat turn it over and stick it in the same place with a new bit of tape turn all the outside then move it of centre with a fresh bit of tape drill then turn the inside bit job done

So simple woody. I'd seen something on YouTube where the guy made a large disk, drilled holes with a forstner and used them as a jam Chuck which looked really complicated. Thanks for the tip mate.

Great job all you need now is a set. Like this maybe

My wife found some rare earth magnetic clasps and I went for leather for the necklace. The second photo hopefully shows the clasp. The earrings in both sets are about 3/4".

I bet you won't show these to the wife

Yes I just need to get hold of some different colours now

Nice Woody, you've been a busy lad.

A couple of ways you can get corian without parting with your pocket money:

Visit the Dupont website - http://www.dupont.co.uk/products-an....html?collection=colours-for-kitchen-worktops
Choose a few colours (don't be too greedy) then send them a message on the contact form in your best cowtow manner. Spin a yarn saying you're thinking about putting in a solid surface kitchen and you've looked at granite but Corian has been suggested and can they pretty please send you some samples (list which ones) so you can look and choose in your own kitchen environment. Ask for the details of their nearest suppliers/installers.
If you're lucky you'll get the samples,120 x 40 x 12mm btw, if not just the installers details but in either case then call in to the local installers and beg offcuts. Might cost you a pen or two but that's all.

Easier for me 'cos I'm a kitchen installer but they tend to be helpful.

Bob
