I have one of those, but am too chicken to try and drill an omega cap out of it!

Take it slowly, and don't drill all the way through. Cut the end off after to reveal the hole, that way there's less chance of splitting it.

Honestly, these acrylics I have found to be really hardy when it comes to drilling. It looks like the same blank that I've bought from Axminster and they are not like polyester blanks that are very brittle, so just take your time, clear the swarf every few millimetres, drill at 700 rpm or less and drill slowly out the other side. I have never had one of these blanks split or blow out when the drill comes out the other side, and I've used quite a lot of these blanks. :thumbs:
