Take a guess
Have you notified whoever was running the swap, I presume it was an organised thing?

The other fellow notified the organiser that he couldn't make a kitless, Doug, but I think Peter hit the nail on the head - if you ain't a Yank (and preferably one who served in the US Armed Forces) you don't count. Ah well, live and learn!

I turned this as my second bulb filler, taking all of the learning from my first. This one I am REALLY pleased with - all of the little niggles from the prototype are ironed out. I also made a matching box from the same plank of walnut that I cut the blank from. Got a pleasant surprise as I turned down the blank - the walnut is rippled and looks simply stunning!

It's off to the US as part of a pen swap - my heart is sore but I guess I'm truly giving of my best.
