Lots of character in those well turned and finished timbers.
Nicely :thumbs:done.
I like the effect of a bit of the flange showing.

I mill the tenon on all my 8mm Euro Premium frames to show a bit of the twist mechanism flange
which according to the instructions would be hidden by the center band.

Looking at the drawing again, it does look like it should be hidden, but it's hard to see straight off and there are no instruction to make it clear. I could make the tenon shorter and that would cover the band, but there wouldn't be as much contact on the tenon. I might try one with a shorter tenon just to see.

I should have said that the Burr Elm was from Lignaterrae AKA Dave Hilton. I bought some for a couple of Majestics I have got for my Granddaughter when she starts her new School in September and I have just prepped the blanks for those so that I don't use them all, I wish I had bought double now.
