I worked for J Ray Mcdermotts ( Oceanic Contractors) from New Orleans !!!!

I worked on a McDermotts barge for a short time... the DB10 but mostly for Brit companies such as KDMarine, Global Diving Services and Stena although I did a spell in the Middle East for Oceaneering which was an American company. I finished after an accident involving a boat 2ft above the surface in 1990

Hey Terry, I used to be an RN Clearance Diver and then went to the North Sea as a diver. As a Sat Tech you might have flushed the toilet for me :funny:

The design for the helmet is based on a Siebe Gorman 6 bolt so Phil is spot on and it just goes to show what a good job David has done.

Aaaah another one come out of the closet, that's four ex RN on here that I know about. Got thown off my clearance course when they found out I had got knocked out twice playing Rugby, nobody told me that it was a no no as a diver! Been trying to rack my brains as to the name of the SD sat diver that was in Exeter in 84-86 Was that about your time?

There was a diver from exeter 'Hutch' that I was in the Mob with.
