While convalescing, in the run up to Remembrance Day, I made a batch of pens from 308 nickel plated brass to sell and pass all proceeds to charity. I ended up doing several batches, making donations to three different charities totalling over £400.
I used slimline kits and followed the advice which was freely given on here, thanks again for your help. I’d like to try and make some variations on cartridge pens using different calibre casings, perhaps with Parker style refills and would appreciate any advice or pointers you could give me.

Don‘t worry, I haven’t given up on wood, and made my first wooden pen with a Cerra kit last week, although the profile’s not great and I need to work out how to apply a finish properly as my attempts at a CA finish ended up with paper stuck everywhere 🤣🤣🤣

Anyway, it’s good to spend some time on the machines but I tire very easily and hope to build a little more resilience.
