Nice Fountain pen and great finish as a newbie I need to find out more about how to make fountain pens my pal at work keeps pestering me for one with a silver nib but I have not found out how to build one yet guess the first stage will be getting a mandrel.

Thanks Bob, but a fountain pen is no harder to make than a ballpoint.

Well done Harry,

Really nice pen and well finished. I would think you will make the customer happy but don't bank on Grump being happy. Some say the last time that happened was when the he walked in to his corner shop and could understand the shopkeeper....:wink:

That happens to be a very nice pen Harry, a class blank with a lovely finish.

BigBob mandrels are nowt but a pain in the arse, turn between centres and make real pens init?
