I think I still have one in the cave Brian, stick it in the post for ya. init.... I have had some good feedback so far but your test should put it to the ultimate test. .:sob:

If not I have one already turned you can have..:winking:

As for click pens Dave, I have no issues with them at all. Yes some seem "clicky" but never had one come back as broken.

Looking at the size of the button that could be a goer Dan, it looks to be the same clicker.
Without actually trying it I wouldn't know, that would make a nice tarts pen now one for geezers please.
Pretty please, pretty pretty please init?

Brian I am impressed with your familiarity with Tarts is SWMBO as impressed mate. Are you improving in the feet dept mate get well.

What Brian said

I've made a number of both Vertex and Stratus which use the same mechanism. I use a Stratus dressed in lignum Vitae as my daily pen and it's beautifully smooth and trouble free. I also agree that the Beaufort rifill I put in this week is a definite improvement - thanks Phil.

There was another kit which I didn't like but had a mechanism which seemed as good but I can't remember the name so will need to look. My MIL nicked it and I think I had only one. It had a number of O rings near the business end! Someone posted one very recently.

It would be great to have a workable click pen here in the UK .. The Vertex does look good ..

Sold many of the vertex click, never had a return, never made a stratus though, but if it's the same mechanism it should be fine. I also sell the executive click pen from tb which is very reliable, any jams are resolved by a quarter turn on the nib and then redoing it up. It seems that the one piece click pens seem to stand a better chance of working than the two piece which do click, but only once, on their way to the bin.
