The camera does what I tell it
although I didn't tell it to make it look like it's chipped, do I have to take another photo to prove it, just look at the two pics above it

Peter it must be an optical thing but it certainly looks like a chip when you zoom in on it cheers Frankie.
Peter it is just an observation I am not trying to undermine your work just thought i see a chip in the un posted pen pic which is actualy not in the same area of the pen going by the grain pattern,

No, I haven't and won't take anything like that the wrong way,I would much rather know there is a problem than be ignorant of it. I have just looked again at the two photos above and you are right the cap could be obscuring it.

Steve was it your sierra that had a chip .
I'm not sure if that is sarcasm or not as I didn't bother to do anything other than crop it

I thought the blank Eamonn sent me was the only piece I had, but I gave another member a lacewood bowl blank recently, if I had realised it was the same I would have butchered it into penblanks long agoPeter
