Cheers Ray. To be fair, it's just like turning a normal box. The process is the same, you just have to be more aware of how thick the box tennon is when your final shaping.

That interesting. The missus just asked me if I could make a box in the shape of an apple. To which I said hmm have to think about that. I get so little time to just make things I want to I'm always making stuff for the fairs :nooidea:

A suggestion given to me by a customer of a certain type, a few years ago when she saw a mushroom shaped box I had on display. Re-brand it as a stash box and sell them at folk festivals. I never did, but perhaps you might want to.
