Well, here is my first acrylic. Quite pleased with it, except I forgot to paint the tube first. Fortunately it still works OK on this blank.

This stuff is nice to turn, isn't it? I also like the Zeta, nice kit to work with!

Very nice especially for your first bloody well done you were lucky with that blank to get away with not painting the tube

That's a cracker for a first one Alan. my first acrylic looked like it was turned with a rasp and polished with an angle grinder!! :funny:

Turned completely with a skew (a bit of scraping in there to be lazy too), sanded to 180-400 then MicroMesh to 12,000. A little bit of Microcrystalline wax added, but not sure it did much. I will try a burnishing cream with the next one to see if it makes a difference.

Lovely balanced pen kit, seems more comfortable than a Sierra to use - hope my wife likes it, if she does I will be turning her one!

This has been said many times before, and I wish I had taken the advice, but don't give it away. Keep it for yourself, there is only ever one First of a kind, so keep it and make more for the others.

Nice pen.
