The blank is from Bear tooth woods. Burgundy Pebble Acrylic.
The clip is chrome plated from Churchill pen kit.Exotic blanks
Nib and feed is Schmidt ,medium point ,from Schmidt pen refills UK.
Finial and front section threads are 9x1mm.
Body and cap threads are double star 12x0.8mm.

Well Mav what a smooth mellow coloured pen velvety even mate superb workmanship a real pleasure to admire the threading etc immaculate and a cut above.

I would bet that most people that pick this up don't realize the amount of work to get such a beautiful pen. Very professional looking. Love the blank.

Very tasty! Im a bit puzzled about the grip/section, though - it seems to taper a lot toward the nib? is that a 5mm feed? Might look more 'balanced' with a 6mm feed and less taper? Just an opinion, doesn't detract from fantastic workmanship.

BTW where did you get the twin start tap and die from?

My very first impression was the design was static at the join then when I looked at the opened pen picture I was blown away by the sheer poetry in the pen proper sweet proportions simply breathtaking beauty with absolute threading, then it dawned on me to safely house this masterpiece requires housing by threading so by crikey you must have material to cut a proper thread . In the pocket it has great style open it screams class.

Then the penny dropped Mav this is your first kitless I take my hat off your the man.
