I like this a lot. The oil finish certainly suits the style of kit and the knurling just sets it off for me.

Nice kit and nice piece of turning. I like an oil finish too, though it's not as robust as some other finishes. I've used it on yew which seems to work ok.

Danish oil lasted a long time in years on my coffee mug, used daily in a harsh environment.
