a junior gent at three times the price a new design may have been favorable
The design will be slightly different to this one as this one was done to simply prove it could be done in the UK.
I plan to have 2 or 3 Fountain / Rollerball kit designs.

With regards to your statement about the price of a Jr Gent.

With the current state of the US dollar kits from Taiwan, China and the States will only go up.

These new kits are all made here in sunny Yorkshire. Price of UK steel (whilst available) should be the only main fluctuation in price.

That actually don't look to bad Dan, (apart from the horrible blank that is) nice substantial spring clip, short threads, no bling and postable.
I might even buy one and try it init?
