Hope the hospital managed to sort you out today Ed and that you've got your breath back.

It's strange 'cos hospitals do the opposite to me and I get hot, flustered and breathless.

Must stop ogling all those young ladies in uniform:goesred:

Pity you aren't a bit closer. I have one of those things, a camera with a light on a flexi tube and a tv screen. I use it to see what's inside hollow walls and pipes etc before I drill or cut into them. Just the job - would definitely clear your sinuses.

On second thoughts I've just remembered some of the places it's been poked down - might need disinfecting first:wink:

Down or up doesn't sound to good for the patient. Good looking pen edlea and thanks for adding the tip on the cutting.

It's not to bad mate, I had the camera down the throat a few yews ago, they sprayed some banana smelling stuff in the back of my mouth, told me to bite on a blue plastic donut & shoved the camera through that.

I did get told off for retching too much but there wasn't a lot I could do about that, I did try & tell the bloke this but with a mouthful of donut & the back of me throat numb with banana spray the words just never made their way out, I just ended up retching a few times more & got told off again, still there are worse places to have a camera shoved :oldman:

Bob not wanting to teach grandma to suck eggs but I had problems with cutting the softish shell cases straight. At first I couldn't see what I was doing wrong ..then the penny dropped. I was using a drilled blank as a jig.... thing was ,because of the taper of the shell case it was only being held where the case entered the blank, in fact it was acting like a pivot when pressure was applied with the saw....see sketch... eventually I came up with the device below and it works a treat . Not sure whether the taper is as severe on Alex's cases though.

That's a good idea Ed. The 7.62 isn't tapered so I didn't have that problem. One thing I did do though is to turn the round and just hold the hacksaw on it which meant that I got it perfectly right with no wandering of the blade.

With a Laryngoscopy, its not the camera that's the problem, its the soundman and editor. :funny::funny::funny::funny:

Seriously though I hope all is well.
