Walter Berberis was a mystery to me as well then read the pedia description found most places except Australia with all those thorns it contributes to a masterful pen one to admire shown in all its glory IMHO excellent pen.

Great looking pen Walter, the grain in that wood is something else to say it grows in the back gardens .. I wish i had known that wood was floating about the auction, i would have made a bee line for Geordie ..
