Oh right thanks Derek it's the first time I have use this finish was very surprised how much of a gloss finish I achieved but yeah I agree with what you say Derek but it's all a learning curve has anybody tried to finish a pen with laquer? If so how did they get on?

I have just started to use gloss finishes on pens, and use the acrylic gloss finish and find that several very thin coats with a rub down between each when dry.
