Hello, pen friends
I recently completed this fountain pen using Honey Noir acrylic from the original Conway Stewart factory. I’ve used red and black acrylic accents and it’s fitted with a Jowo number six nib.
This is a new model I’ve made which has been quite popular. I’ve called it the Rascal and it’s quite a bit shorter and a bit stockier than my other models which are generally similar to the standard pen sizes you see.
This one also tapers to the back and front of both the cap and the barrel. That does mean that when you’re gripping the pen the little step behind the cap threads doesn’t feel much bigger than the threads themselves, and means that high gripping of this pen isn’t an issue, or at least I haven’t found it to be so.
The overall length when open is 80mm which is about a small as I can get it to accept a screw-in Schmidt cartridge converter.
Fitted with a pocket clip from Beaufort Ink and capped off, quite literally, with my enamel logo coin.
Cheers, Ash
