My sister came down for the weekend from Cirencester to do what we call the Christmas run. Presents swapped and she picked up the stool she asked me to make.
Anyway she brought me an extra little some thing another 6 LV bowling balls now that brings me up to 18 of these.
I still need to decide what to make with them.
The first picture is what I already had and the second new ones to add to the growing collection

They make a good mallet Derek

I have already made a mallet for my carving chisels made from a ball.

I am going to turn two small bowls balls from some so they are miniature ones but then will hollow them and make salt and pepper pots using the little white number as the holes for the salt and pepper to exit not sure if I will thread them to allow for filling

THreaded Balls what a headline Derek. Made a pen onetime from the shaft bearing of a ship, with LV beaut grain.

Old and tough as,good luck mate, not for the fainthearted.
