Just need to fit the hinges

What do you lot think it's a bit rough round the edges

Pretty good I'd say, it just looks a bit "chunky".

Could you make the walls a smidge thinner ?

My respect understanding most pen boxes become desk containers for allsorts of things in strange places depending on how substantial Alex.

Yes with hinges the so simple looking pillar hinges require special clearance cuts need to be quality made require thickness such as you have created safest hinges need to be traditional brass also quality and recessed another ball game calling for yet another set of skills or jig making. Establish a cost to make in numbers die of fright at the freight cost and the need for substantial packaging those boxes available become very attractive.
