Interesting thread!

I turned my first pens a few weeks ago 5 slimline and 1 Sierra.

Envisaged selling price... €10 and €20 for the Sierra.

Lots of "They are beautiful" but no sales...

They are now 'off the market' for a few weeks and will be reintroduced at €7.50 and €15

Working on €10 per hour would simply not work for me (at the moment) The pens would be far too expensive :goesred:

Although I want to make a load more I am holding off until I get some sold as I really don't want to end up having to drop the price of the pens to €5 and €10 respectively to sell them!!! :nonono:

Hi Terry

Not always a tough market

For my first attempt at pens I was really surprised at the finished quality of the pens and knew that people would like them.

It's funny that I sell other items to Portuguese rather than the expat community. I am looking at shipping pens, in particular, back to the UK for sale on a friends website. Likely to be a little more lucrative!

AWGB... Hmmm... Well, not hanging around there much these days!

To me it seems as thou the clientele that the AWGB are trying to attract are the members of RPT ... Anyone below this standard are hounded out ... Or made to feel incompetent
