Just want to introduce myself to the forum.

My name is Duncan and I am based in Stratford upon Avon. I have been a hobby woodturner most of my life, but since retiring 13 years ago, I have done a lot more stuff. My specialities are salt and pepper grinders, bowls, clocks and of course pens. All these make great gifts and I get a lot of fun out of doing them.

I have buillt up a good workshop over the years as I also make furniture and do quite a lot of restoration. I was in the inland boatbuilding business many years ago, so retain some of the experience gained then. Quite often I come against a problem which is, I am sure, easily solved by sharing with others, hence my joining the forum. I started in the early 70's with a Coronet Minor, graduating to a Major when my Dad passed away. I now have an Axminster Trade model which I am very pleased with and it does all I need.

Looking forward to sharing ideas in the future

Best wishes
Duncan

Welcome to the forum, Duncan.
There's a place also to post photographs of other things that you make, as well as posting pictures of pens.
Photographs are always welcome.
