Didn't get as good a shine on this one. I'm following Phil's Melamine advice, but doing it from memory so I suspect I missed a step or two. Will read it again and make bullet points of each step and hang it on the wall behind my lathe :-)

Nice job, my success with melamine depends on the level of finish I get when sanded.... If it looks good pre finish it'll look good post:ciggrin::ciggrin:

Yes you are spot on, I realised this when I read back through Phil's tutorial. I'm writing up quick notes now to have another go this morning :-)
