Here are some large scale (1:6) Lego men I have made. They have been a work in progress for over a year now, figuring out how to make them, gathering sizes etc and I managed to get the prototype one finished in January. I have since refined the build process, joint types etc and gave made two more, one for the living room and one for my 6 year old son. They are fully pose able and come to bits like a real lego man. The faces are burnt on with a soldering iron (I'm not happy with the faces).

The prototype (far right) is Teak, Walnut and Sycamore.
The middle one us highly figured Elm burr and Sycamore.
Left one is Purpleheart, Padauk and Sycamore.

When I put pictures on Facebook, my feed went nuts. I had about 30 requests for them. I really want to make a huge one for our hall, about 700mm fall but that takes lots of sticks.

Hope they are of interest.

P.s sorry I don't know how to rotate the pictures the correct way up.

These are fantastic,. well made and I am sure they were greatly received. Now I want to make one using the yellow plastic Lego head you can buy

Thanks for the comments guys. I'm planning a huge one for the entrance lobby to the house, if the wife allows it, it will be over 700mm tall.

Yes they are solid Dan, if you google lego figure sizes you can download plans with all (well most of) the dimensions and just scale it up to whatever size you want. They are actually fairly easy to make, just time consuming.

Eamonn, yes I received the same pestering from my son after I made the prototype and ow he has his one he wants one painted like Emmet from the film.

We must be legoman free in our home I appreciate the work you have put into them, time and real effort. I correct that put the question to the breakfsst chef who is familiar who says how nice they are.The question was raised about copyright but that seems the motto on the forum show then someone will make.Craig between Bill and yourself no doubt I will learn more about them.

Absolutely brilliant. I am biased as I have collected Lego figures for years. Well done.
