Just google lego figure dimensions and you'll get it. If you have any questions Dan just give me a shout, I have some WIP pictures.

Here are the drawings I used. I liked them because they are metric and have all the dimensions you will need. The arm sizes were harder to obtain, especially the elbow angle but my pal is an engineer and has some super duper gadget for finding small, awkward angles and determined it needs a 67.5 degree cut, which looks about right.

Here are a couple of photies to show how he goes together. He is fully articulated and comes to bits like the real one. I used a simple dowel through the centre disc to hold on the legs on the prototype but they tended to work themselves off. I now use threaded rod right through them with nyloc nuts and plug the holes, this works much better. Let us know how you get on.

Amazing, brilliant, and lots of other superlatives. I can see the next competition won't be pens at all, it'll be lego men. What have you done Craig??

Created a monster? I'm interested to see what innovations and methods folk come up with to make them. Took me ages to suss it all out and tried a few methods for certain parts, like the hands for example, I tried 3 different ways of making them until I found the best way.

Bllody hell Dan - have you got the parts already stashed in a cupboard somewhere. Aren't you supposed to be working?
