My first attempt at a kitless pen that I turned last week from one of my own blanks, I’ve learnt quite a bit turning this & managed to make a couple of mandrels in the process.

Since it was my first kitless pen, my plan was to use the bock section to make it easier, but then replace it with a custom made section, but I’ve since learnt that I can’t buy the die that is required to do that.

Nice.... whatever we do, we all have to start somewhere...it's s step I have yet to take, but I hope it's half as good as that.... well-done:thumbs::thumbs:
