If you'r not in a hurry for whatever you order why not try Timberbits in Australia they are second to none for value for money and delivery is usually within 2 weeks.
A lot of the forum members use them.

If it's only your second pen, why have you called it "pen3 in the title? :bwink: I'm just intrigued with those sort of things..:rolling:

Any way, i think your first pen was good, this is slightly better But, there always has to be one....but that is...:thinks:

The clip end of the pen looks like it's a little over turned just before the edge of the top, looks like a small dimple, But that's my opinion inint.. Only mine..

The nib end looks like there is a very small lip as if it's a little over turned, but only slightly, so slightly. Either that or I need to go to specsavers... Of forgot, that's where I go init....:mooney2: but excellent effort for your 3rd pen..:goesred:

But I. Like the shape..

It's called pen3 because I named the first 2 pics of my first pen pen1 and pen2. Original I know :winking:

The nib end is perfect on this one, I'll try and get some better pics. The cap end was the result of not turning my work light on, ha! But I kind of like it now its done.

I'm going to make a few more today, just need to extend the reach of my drill press.

Any idea what the wood of the second one was. It smelt fishy when turning, turned to dust when cutting and drilling and was pretty easy to machine.

The real pen 3 ;)

This is the last one I'll post in here because I've just realised there is a gallery section :whistling:

I think it's oak, but I'm rubbish with woods!
