I knew you would make something lovely:thumbs: The blank look great, how do you rank it with regards to the other kind or is is just too different? I had a card through the door from the PO saying they tried to deliver something, it could be from timberbits which will be the blanks.

Peter

When Dan gets the tube dimensions sorted and the bushes sorted then he's on a winner and I will definitely buy it Peter and I would rate it on a par with the Lucida. I only hope is that an all gold kit can be made as I do get asked this question and it would be another option !!!!

Sorry Terry, when I asked how you rank it, I was referring to the blank.

However, I found a Lucida in the same box as the Jr.Gent 2s that I got from timberbits, I can just faintly remember thinking about getting one, it does look quite nice and I know I have an elegant beauty somewhere so will have to have a day of making sierras, I know I have a few other different kinds so it will be interesting to see the zeta as well, an upgrade gold or Ti Gold would be okay.

Sorry Peter yes the blank is a stunner and probably the best that I have seen in the acrylic stable. My wife suggested that I try it on the Zeta and immediately confiscated the finished pen. Speaks volumes Peter !!!!

Thanks Terry, you have just confirmed what I thought when I saw Steve's pen. Okay, back to the dreaded sierra's I know you have said before that you make the centre a certain diameter and then take the ends down to the fittings, can you save me trying to find the post where you say what diameter you make the middle?

No problem Peter. The Zeta and the Lucida are smaller so I make the centre dia 13.2 - 13.25mm and the Sierra being a larger pen at 13.5mm.
You may find that you want to tweak these dimensions but I find that I get a decent "flow" to the ends of the blanks !!!

Thanks Terry, I will have to write it down and give it a whirl, if I start to like the "sierras" I am going to blame you:funny:
