Morning here Cris your turning problems are minor the results you have shown of your choices in timber excellent if there is the slightest doubt timber or reduced to blanks timber is not dry I give them a miss I have never owned a meter or testing device my wife and I were discussing the relative dryness she gave me her version of a test that I have applied ever since if it the blanks feel cold in relation to others especially on the inside wrist then invariably they are not yet dry. In time you will develop your own method that you find successful.
In the mean time the pens here are excellent examples of choice, beaut finishes , thoughtful surfaces these are still problems for many experienced penmakers so you are already well along the way. The pictures are superb indeed advanced well ahead indeed I just showed my wife who agrees with me well done. Trust you settle into the cut and thrust of the forum for me I am very impressed by these two pwns as I see them which is all anyone can do.
