Yep, could do, or just put it on the disk sander to get rid if the bent bit. 120 grit should make it quite quick.

I would use a 4lb hammer on an anvil to re-shape it. You might need a forge to heat it first but after you should be in a worse position than now.

Whatever your solution Ed, just make sure you take it out of the housing first. You wouldn't want to damage the feeder.

Nahh it's for writing at 45 degrees to the horizontal :wink:

My wife is a feeder I think... well she cooks the meals anyway and you have to take her out of the housing to get the grub in the first place and if I damage her then I'd be more damaged

Ed I imagine the damage to the flower blanks when dropped would exceed that of this nib but felt the pain.
