Roy you made a beaut job of what I find a an iffy timber I say iffy it is a very hard timber but finishes so well and often it has strange flecks in it your pen went to the dark side very special indeed. I have a mate who uses a lot of this timber for fine furniture and values it highly it fetches a premium price over here.

it was a very hard wood and took a couple of resharpening to get it smooth and the wood wasn't cheap but was a pleasure to turn
