They sent me six Parapan samples, only one 18mm the rest 3mm.
I used the Anthracite and a small piece of pearly gates to make the blank.
It's a bit plain, but it polished up ok.parapan 3.jpgparapan 4.jpg

Yes Alan, there is a link to their site somewhere (search Parapan) you can choose what colour samples you want and thickness,
18mm or 4mm, out of the 6 I ordered, I only got 1 x 18mm the rest 4mm.
There are some nice colours to choose from.

They sent me a sample pack including 2 @ 18mm and the rest 4 mm but ignored my colour request. The 18 mm is not especially attractive so will probably use it for bushes and cones. I guess I got the pack because I used the company details on the request.

It's well turned and finished:thumbs:

Was the anthracite that size or did you cut it down? Parapan does polish up really well, was the anthracite they sent you only that size? The 3 pieces I had originally are 130mm x 60mm x 18mm and the 4 they sent me this time are 100mm x 100mm x 4mm which can be glues together if I can be bothered.
