As I mentioned in another thread I sell these pen boxes as an added value item. Sadly I dont make the boxes I buy them in then sand off the finish on the lid and the wife then pyrographs a personalised design on it. I then put a couple of coats of sanding sealer back on the lid and it looks as good as new again.

Could you not make that sort of thing with a router? Just thinking that's all!:nooidea:

I guess you could but I don't have a router table. I'd need a new router too as the one I have won't stay switched on without holding the button down. And to be honest with the amount of work involved in making just one box it's more economical to buy them ready made

Yes i can see what you mean about making one box, i was thinking of multiple boxes as you can pyro them as well and sell em!:bwink:

I like the innovation Ray, I also like the effort that you Mrs puts in to make them more attractive to the punter .. :thumbs:
