Problem removing pens after applying a CA finish

My next task is to turn down a piece of steel rod to to the correct diameter to fit inside the tubes of a gel writer I need to disassemble because it has a similar problem.

Thanks for the suggestion, Silver. There are four different sets of transfer punches on the page to which you provided a link. I presume you are recommending either the metric or the imperial set. From your experience, which would be the more useful?

In my view I would say the metric ones Bob, but some on here would say the imperial ones as there are allot of kits that use imperial sizes.

But to be honest either will do and you will find one in either set to do what you need to do.

be careful of cheap (silverline) sets from ebay- even those described as metric are actually imperial.
