Hi - I'm a new member and I've been pen turning for 6mths. Does anyone have use for the resin shavings from a few different coloured blanks. I don't intend to make my own blanks due to limited space, but if anyone can make use of my shavings let me know. Maybe I can swap them for a blank or two.

Hi, I think you will find pen turners/blank makers have more than enough shavings from there own turnings to have to rely on other turners to supply them.
Just saying. Thanks for the offer though.

Hi Paul - welcome to the Forum. As Dave implies, I think we all have enough problems disposing of our own shavings. I've often thought though that they would look good as reconstituted blanks though, although I'm not into casting myself

Thanks for all the replies - I'll probably take Legend's advice and let Henry eat them.

Hello Peter

I have been watching the news here in the UK and I am sorry to say that the fires in Aussie are horrendous. It has done nothing but rain here making it very dismal indeed and thinking that the Aussies could do with some of it. Stay safe and hope the conflagration soon dies. A lot of people are thinking of you all here.

PS..Shavings .........my dustman hates me. But Henry loves 'em.

Cheers
Frederick
