Managed a few hours after work to fulfil some orders for the missus to take in to work tomorrow.

Sorry for the pics but didn't have time to set them up properly.

Bob

edit:- the photos look as though the sierras are different sizes - strange - just checked and they aren't:nooidea:

Bob,
Nice collection, what is the name or where did you get the bluish blank second from the top?

Slimline second from left is from one of the tubes Vince (turners workshop) has and the sierra next to that is another one. No idea what the patterns are called but I understand that they are the remaining stock from an italian penmaker who went out of business a long time ago. I bought a couple of lengths to try but I think Vince sells them in packs on ebay and his website as well

Photos don't do them justice btw, they are very nice indeed.

Thanks for the comments fellas.

Trouble is (if you can call it that), I can't keep hold of any at the minute as they're out the door almost before I've made them. Had a Jewsons delivery to site yesterday and sold the driver a bolt action. He told the manager and I've had a request to take them in:iknow:

Nice pens.
Your camera intrigues me. It distorts so much and it doesn't at the same time. Weird.:thinks:

I think that is because of the aperture setting on the camera which affects the depth of field. I guess that the picture was taken in the way that Brian has shown in his post. When the picture was taken it focused on the top pen and because the f stop was down to something like 2.8, the depth of field is quite small and anything not too close to the point of focus is out of focus. You can try it out yourself by looking at something but also have something in the background. Open your eyes as wide as they'll go and that something if its not too far away will remain in focus. Now squint and the same think will be out of focus.
