This is my first Rinehart ballpoint kit, in gunmetal. The blank is a Rhino called Diggin' For Gold. I didn't expect it to have so much silver in it, but I really like it!
I was careful to line up the facets in the finial and center band, but forgot about the clip. So I pushed the finial out enough to turn the clip, and got it better, but somehow the facets are off now. I might fix it later, but I'll definitely be more careful on the next one.
Difficult decisions Jim with this kit what sizing to give either end of the two blanks I always try to match hexes with the tip extended and show them to people this way. Feel your pain with the clip, thems the breaks of penmaking. Its worth drifting the clip off and replacing it even with a separate one by measurement. The full potential is yet to come but the blank is very terrestrial, special.
