Well today I donned me mask and decided to finish that smelly lump of Jarra Terry so bloody kindly gave me it ended up 8" tall with a polish finish and to be honest now its finished I'm glad I made it the wood is heavy and silky smooth I love the finished item but what a bu**er to turn now if you have the courage and want a lovely silky smooth vase there is a large lump waiting for you in my shed please dont all rush first come first served now I have to go and shower and change Violet thought I had been down the local pig farm

I've still got a big piece left which I think is destined for the TIP !!! LOL:face::face::face:

Terry you could reverse auction it for charity, pick a member and tell them you are going to send it to them, they then have a choice to accept it or send you a donation, if they choose to send a donation pick another member and so on:thumbs::thumbs::thumbs:

I almost bought a couple of Jarrah sleepers, but the company wouldn't cut them for me so they would go into the back of my Volvo.

There's a company in Nottingham that sell them for between £16.00 and £30.00
