I've got an order going in this week, so I'll get a few if you like. If you'd prefer to get them yourself just shout Paul (I bet my dad's bigger than your dad though)

Phil, I haven't got a business selling parts and therefore will leave it to you.

how much are they likely to be. I could do with a scratch awl.

I've just done a bit of research. They're quite heavy it seems so therefore quite expensive to import, but I'm guessing that allowing for shipping and customs/vat etc they'll probably work out at around the £7 - £8 mark. How does that sound? If I put them on the Beaufort Ink site then P&P can roll up with anything else you might want.

Paul - can you tell me how much it actually does weigh? I know you've got a blank on it now, but it will be a guide.

that sounds good to me. If you get enough interest to make it worthwhile you importing them, please put me down for one. If you do not, then I understand.

I've just enrolled/joined Rhitzeng but haven't ordered yet because I can't get any idea of the postage, can you give me an idea of the postage import taxes etc?

Right, I have a few scratch awl kits on order now, and they should be here possibly the end of next week. I've also ordered some bushings to go with them. I'll take a chance and have an educated guess at import duty/VAT so they'll be priced at about £8.00, perhaps a few pennies less, and the bushings will be 2 or 3 pounds extra. Let me know if you are interested in having one or more and also if you'd like the bushings as well. I'll ear mark them on a first come first served basis and if demand outstrips supply, I can always get some more.

When you put stuff in the basket it shows you what the postage is Kevin.

When you started this post Paul the description was like a horse race and one had been scratched I have found a quality Scratch Awl invaluable with its fine extended point making accurate marking possible especially in metal work using background dyes. Seems like so many others feel they have a place bear in mind its utilitarian there are lots out there fairly cheap and this kit cost etc places them in the novelty rather than the essential market. My few thoughts.
