TThat's a great looking pen Mr Chairman, the kit looks solid. See what you mean about the band, I don't dislike it but it narrows down the options for what type of wood/acrylic is used.

Nicely done Terry.

How does the kit compare to the ones from TB? - They are just over £3 ($5.80).

Bob

Bob from a quality point of view they are on a par with Timberbits. Therefore it is a case of either waiting 20 days and saving approx £1 per kit or getting them overnight If you are bulk buying and can wait then it has to be Timberbits or if you want a smallish amount and quickly then Dan is your man. Maybe if you want to bulk buy then Dan may be able to give some discount !!!!!

Thanks Terry, that's what I wanted to hear.

I don't buy anything purely on price as I value service very highly. It is after all what I base my own business upon, and one of the reasons I buy from Vince at Turners workshop.
If Dan keeps progressing and gets a decent choice of stock then he'll get some more of my business as well. I certainly was impressed how quickly he got the slimlines out to me.

regards
Bob

Likewise Bob. If I can buy quality locally then I will. One of the main reasons I buy from Timberbits is their range of pens and quality of course but I have to buy probably more than I require at any one time to justify sending off to Oz. !!!!!

Lovely looking pen and really well turned Terry.

I will certainly be in for some of these when Fan has them on stock.

That looks a really nice pen Terry.

Like the finish and wood selection is just spot on for the kit.

Great review, I quite like the CB.

Price is not an issue to me as I mostly use Dayacom which are top end kits anyway so the price tends to match it..
