Thanks for the welcomes guys, much appreciated.

I am not sure if I will continue with this hobby as yet tho.:thinks:. I am thinking the sedentary lifestyle woodturning has brought and will continue to bring will have a further negative effect on my lifestyle.:sob:

So I have a few ideas, been inspired over the last 10 days. :winking: any one with any suggestions..

:rolling: i am not sure the cold would help my RA

There's battery heated mitts you can wear and if you can strap a car battery to you back you can get heated long-johns, or you could spend more time in a warmer climate. Heated wax for your hand could also help.

Thanks for missing me Peter.:love_it:

Never taken it through a straw, but now you have mentioned it I may just have a go to see if it hits the spot a bit quicker..:funny:

i was rather hoping morphine addiction would be cheaper than pen turning addiction Peter.:winking:

I am being monitored monitored very closely and I have another MRI on Friday, sure I will be beginning to glow in the bloody dark soon. Had that many x Ray's, ultra sounds and MRI scans. Feel like a pin cushion and also think I should look at putting one of those taps permanently in my arms so I can just take a bit out and send it away cutting out the middle man.

Might work don't you think.?

My last MRI was MRI level 4 (800 AU no discounts no benefits it goes where no man has gone before). Wilma had what is called a post a small box under the skin high up in the chest connected to a main place she kept it there for two years. Her chemo 8hrs stints then heavy other drugs then Radiation that connection enabled rapid assimilation and arms being heated to find veins. My huge injections were intramuscular if the needle found a wrong place it was interesting, I found new words spring to mind.

The advice with turning is sound I jumped into a gymn recently and find so many real good reasons not to go, if it was not for an out clause I was saddled with a two year contract. Never throw your old shoes away until you are wearing the new ones mate.

All the best.

Peter.

Peter.

New shoes fitted and working really well Peter, never felt better than I have for a few years now. I am thinking the old shoes may have to go. Well I will leave them locked in the shed for the time being anyway.
