Mostly unusual blank added attention to detail in nib the converter also a ripper when ink filling and providing greater choice of inks, beaut combination of desireability. The Baron is underated but a dignified kit. Thanks Walter.

Thanks for all your kind comments gentlemen. This was a very translucent blank, so much so that you could see the tube through the cap section before I had even started turning it so I painted the inside of the tube to prevent the tube or glue line from showing.

Plating looks more like Chrome than Silver plating.

It better not be, I paid Turner's Retreat a premium for silver. :rolling:

That is a cracking Pen and Blank Walter .. :thumbs: The blanks looks as though it has some kind of saw teeth set within it .. :goesred:

A very nice pen Walter and well worth the upgrade you have done. I have made a couple of these silver plated Barons as presentation gifts. In the hand the silver plating does look different to chrome at least to my eyes, although that might not show in the photos. I have yet to upgrade one using Phil's latest but seeing this I must do so.
