And Elephant's Fart instead of breath init?

The background is actually white, but I adjusted the exposure in lightroom to show up the figure better which makes the background look grey. Here it is unadjusted. Also for some reason, once posted on here via Flickr the white balance tends more towards the blue end of the spectrum, it looks less so in lightroom. :nooidea:

What a pile of crap.........................

That photo is, no depth of field, white balance all wong, lighting tooooooooooo dark and the background sucks.

Good job you're better at making pens than taking photo's & that don't look bad for a slimline hybrid whatever.

Don't worry Paul will be along soon and tweak it:thumbs:

Love that Walter looks better than a standard streamline. Beautifully turned and finished as always. What made your customer request a longer pen?

Can't be a CA finish or is the photo dodgy? - No visible white marks :whistling::bwink:

Like your pen Walter inh the 1990,s a guy called Dick Sing became quite famous for doing just what you have extending the lower barrel and the main maker of Slimline Kits in Taiwan produced the Dick Sing Kit with a longer brass tube and a normal for the top. In 2001 Dick and his wife Cindy visited Canberra a nd we had a day with him at a dealers shop, because I was so enthusiastic after his demos he gave me one of those kits and a beautiful prepared blank. Dick was a toolmaker engineering background who became a professional Woodturner in 1989 since I started making pens in the 80,s twas a right royal oportunity for me he used a micrometer to get as perfect a fit at the tip centre and top, the vision of this stays with me.

Kind regards Peter.

Hi Walter,
Really nice pen and photos.
I have not tried modifying any kits yet but this seems like a good one.
Regards
Ivor
