Good to hear the end of the tripping problem phantom tripping aside earth leakage may be the way to go but it causes so many probs when it takes out the main breaker before the one on that circuit. I spent a day or two once with this problem it came down to the connections at the switch board were connected in the wrong way for earth leakage on the workshop circuit difficult because it was the neutral wiring fitted by a handyman.

Like your small lathe looks like it is brand new.

Peter.

Its about a year old Peter but it only gets used for pens I have a Nova for everything else

That is a neat set up Woody. It prompted me to finally get round to sorting out the way the inverter and remote control are fitted to my Nova. The inverter has been fixed "temporarily" to the wall since I fitted the VS waiting for me to get round to fitting it properly. I will post some photos later.

This is what I done with my Nova one Walter so I can place it were I want it and move it out of the way when its not in use

That looks neat Woody. I have fixed the inverter to the mounting foot of the motor with a square steel tube (ex office table leg)and an aluminium plate)

I have fitted rare earth magnets to the control box by changing the box base screws for longer ones.

It can then be placed anywhere on the lathe so it is in easy reach whatever i am doing.
