I personally can not see why rhodium plating demands such a high retail price. Costs to have kits manufactured in rhodium is about an extra 10%

It's perception, Rhodium is the highest priced metal as I understand it, so it must cost a lot more and it is a very hard plating micron for micron. If you can do your pens in Rhodium for a 10-15% increase I think you will sew the market up.

Well if you come up with a rhodium gents classic for a tenner, I will consider having your babies. On second thoughts, maybe not - would you settle for flowers on your birthday? And in return I'll come up with a pencil conversion to keep the pencil heads happy.
